Austria get first Typhoons's

Added Special Report: First Eurofighter Typhoon Arrives in Austria.

On July 12, 2007, the first export customer for Eurofighter, Austria, took delivery of its first Eurofighter Typhoon (AS001).

a great milestone for Eurofighter... does anyone have any good video links of it in flight? I understand its a very quick and agile aircraft, comparable to the F22 Raptor and the upcoming F35

The Typhoon is considered to be next best fighter around after the Raptor. It is also now having a good bomb truck capability developed so will eventually have a swingwing capability. The F-35 looks like it is going to be more of a bomb truck than a fighter on current reports. Be very interesting to see it go in to service - especially as the Royal Navy looks like it will now get its new carriers now and these will take the F-35.
