whow - thats a great picture... it looks really small though, referencing the size with the cone on the ground, was the Hawk really that small?
The hawk is quite a small aircraft - mainly used as a tranier.
Although the navy also uses the Hawk to simulate missiles (they fly a profile like a missle) to train Destroyers and Frigates in the tactics to handle attack from sea skimming missiles - like the famous "exocet".
