It seems that every major player in the mobile market is trying to get involved with social networking in some aspect. No one can deny that social networking sites like MySpace, Facebook and others are redefining the way an entire generation communicates with each other.
Cell phones and text messaging have been seen as the defacto standard for teenagers for several years to communicate but with social networking coming on the scene it seems that the time for the technologies to merge has arrived.
Which brings me to ask why are all the major players simply using the other platforms? The major players in the mobile world are simply using the social networks that are already established instead of creating a new one that could truly use the full experience that cell technologies could offer.
Is it because they are afraid they can't establish themselves in this already crowded market? Could it be that they don't know what they are dealing with? Could it be both?
We pose these questions because we want you to be able to get more from your mobile phone. Regardless of what mobile provider you have. If you want a new innovative social network that is designed just with your cell phone in mind as MOSH mobile offers then tell your provider. Ask for more. Force them to innovate.
